Design Studio Epsilon
Welcome to the official Design Studio Epsilon website!
Studio Epsilon is the capstone design subject for our undergraduate Bachelor of Design students majoring in Architecture. In this subject, students take on a double role of designer and community member as they engage in the collaborative design proposal. This capstone subject focuses on an architectural proposition that addresses design issues across different scales. Students engage in cultural, social, environmental, and economic challenges relevant to architectural design.
This website is a platform for our undergraduate architecture students to demonstrate and celebrate their learning by integrating BDes coursework. It is designed to provide current/future students and the wider academic community access to the critical discourse the subject engages with.
This project has been made achievable through the support and funding of the University's Next Generation Capstone Initiative Project.
Design Studio Epsilon’s repository of Guest Lectures gathers recordings of talks by some of the most exciting international practitioners and researchers working in diverse cultural contexts on multi-unit residential projects and exploring innovative design solutions for social, environmental, and economic challenges of today. These talks are part of various public events hosted by the Melbourne School of Design over the past three years.
