Vivus Housing

Vivus Housing is about expressing the energy of “living," be it the presence of life, processes of living, or facilitating life.

By experimenting with permeability and operability, notions of permanence are challenged, static boundaries are reimagined, and the ever-changing nature of life is imbued into the architecture. The architecture itself becomes alive; growing, and changing, influenced in different ways by each resident’s unique ways of living.

The result will be a diverse neighbourhood, culturally and architecturally dynamic. It will be an ever-exciting environment in which the manifestations of life are given full expression, where space is consistently redefined. Here the concept of “norm” is discarded, and daily life is no longer stale.
