Peer Mentoring

More info

The Melbourne Peer Mentoring Program (MPMP) connects you with peer mentors, and a group of fellow Bachelor of Design students. Your peer mentors will provide you with personalised advice about study and engagement opportunities at the University. The MPMP is an instant social network to touch base with as you embark on your studies.

Welcome to the Melbourne Peer Mentor Program
Massimo, Bachelor of Design student

“The mentor program was extremely beneficial in that it allowed students to develop an instant connection with current students who could answer questions about the course and Uni in general. In this new environment where we have to search for answers ourselves, as opposed to the spoon-feeding back in high school, I feel it was really helpful having someone to lean on”

Massimo A, Bachelor of Design

How does it work?

Commencing Bachelor of Design (B-Des) students are matched with later-year mentors and a group of B-Des peers. Five mentoring sessions will be scheduled throughout a student’s first semester of study. Mentees can use the Chatter tab in the Peer mentoring portal to chat with their mentors and fellow B-Des group members.

  • How do I know who my mentors are?
