    Subject selection is an important step in your enrolment process that requires careful planning and consideration.

  • Class timetable

    Once you’ve enrolled in your subjects, you can create your timetable for the semester using MyTimetable.

  • Special consideration

    If you experience circumstances which significantly affect your ability to meet your academic requirements, you can apply for special consideration. There are two types available, and it’s important to understand which is right for you.

  • Leave of absence

    If you wish to take time off from the course you're currently enrolled in, you may be able to apply for a leave of absence.

  • Advanced standing

    To seek credit from subjects you have previously completed at another institution you can apply for advanced standing (credit).

  • Diagnostic English Language Assessment (DELA)

    Find out which programs are best suited to helping you develop your communication skills further, and which skills you most need to focus on by taking the Diagnostic English Language Assessment.

  • Over-enrolment

    If you want to take extra subjects beyond the normal number of points required for your course, you can apply to over-enrol.

  • Overloading

    If you want to enrol in more subjects than the standard amount in a semester, you will need to apply to overload.

  • Unsatisfactory academic progress

    An overview of what happens if you don't meet academic progress requirements for your course.

  • Course withdrawal

    The process of permanently stopping your course (degree) before completion.
