Plunge Cut Saw

What is a Plunge Saw?

Plunge saws use a circular saw blade which plunges into material from above to cut it. The plunge saw acts much like a hand held table saw that cuts from above rather than below. The saw is capable of cutting mitres and bevels as well as straight cuts.

Why use a Plunge Saw?

The plunge saw can be used when straight cuts are required in the middle of a piece of material.  When used with the guide rail system it is capable of accurate, long straight and angled cuts.
