The University of Melbourne Course and Subject Handbook
The Handbook is a critical resource for students and you are expected to use it when planning your studies. You will find details about your course, subjects and timetable by accessing the Handbook.
You should firstly familiarise yourself with your Course Entry: begin by typing the name of your course (e.g. Master of Architecture) into the search function and selecting the appropriate entry. This entry details the core, elective, breadth or major components that you must complete to be eligible to graduate with your degree. Different courses will have different requirements and components, so please familiarise yourself with the requirements for your specific course. You may also wish to view sample course plans, which can be used as a guide when planning your course.
You should review the subject entry of any subject you want to take, so that you are aware of the academic content, any requirements including prerequisites, and how to access the timetable.
