Shopping centres are being increasingly developed in Australia. The material replacement frequency is significantly high in shopping centres which results in increased Life Cycle Embodied Energy. Thus materials need to be selected carefully for shopping centres in order to reduce their recurrent material and energy demand and life cycle cost.
