The faculty provides full-time graduate researchers with access to desk spaces and computer facilities as well as printing, room booking, mail, parcel delivery, fax and business card services and fabrication workshop access.
The Faculty provides full-time graduate researchers with access to desk spaces and computer facilities, subject to availability. The office spaces are located on level 3 and 4 of the Melbourne School of Design (building 133). To be eligible for office space, graduate researchers must be enrolled full-time and make regular use of the space provided until submission of their thesis.
Melbourne School of Design graduate researchers are given 24 hour access to workspaces and business hours access to the staff lounge and meeting rooms 201 and 408.
Photocopying and printing facilities are located throughout the MSD building. Print jobs are sent to a faculty wide server and can be retrieved from any printer using your student card. To add the printer to your computer follow these instructions:
- In the start menu type \\uom-print in the command bar
- In the window that appears search for FollowMe
- Find and select D702.FollowMe-Toshiba (\\uom-print)
- Send printing to the printer listed above
Graduate Researchers can book a meeting room in the MSD building during business hours by emailing the Research and Industry Office.
Mail can be sent to the Melbourne School of Design for research purposes only. The University does not accept personal mail on behalf of staff or students. The following address can be used for appropriate mail items:

Parcels can be delivered to the Australia Post Parcel Lockers on campus. Register via the Australia post website.

Graduate Research students can purchase personal business cards for themselves through the faculty online store. Proof of purchase alongside a completed application form should be sent to the Research and Industry Office.
